Not a nicer guy you could ever meet. Mark Riggs was born in Dublin, Ireland but we are all fortunate he and his family currently call Winnipeg home.

Mark was the Irish National Intermediate Champion in his amateur days, as well as a member of the Irish Senior International squad. From the time he turned Pro in 1996 he amassed a number of wins. His record stands at 26 wins (KO: 10), 2 losses (KO: 1) and no draws. He boxed 184 rounds in his career and had a KO% of 35.71 which likely means way more to the guys he knocked out.

Mark’s hard work earned him the title of Canadian Super Lightweight Champion in 2002 at the annual “St. Paddy’s Day Punch-up” in Winnipeg. He has been involved with that event ever since and has been a crucial link between all of us and Ireland…or at least the boxers from Ireland.

Mark has an orthodox boxing stance and some argue an unorthodox way of training and coaching people: he is generally nice. He is the most senior technical coach and mentor at ITC and we are proud to have him; especially because he can lift just about anything we need moved.
